job summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Shear Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate industrial shearing machines to cut, trim, or shear metal materials to precise specifications. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate mechanical or hydraulic shearing machines Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or sketches to determine cutting specifications Adjust machine settings for material thickness, cutting length, and blade clearance Ensure all cuts meet quality standards and adhere to safety guidelines Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using measuring instruments Maintain a clean and organized work area

location: Pineville, NC
salary: $20/hr
work hours: 7:00AM to 3:30PM

qualifications:

• up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)

skills:

• Inspect quality and defects of products
• Use measurement devices such as calipers & micrometers
• Load, unload materials & equipment
• Inspect material supplies and inventory

dress code:
Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only.
