Job Description:We are Hiring Immediately for a 1st Shift Furniture Technician position in an exciting warehouse facility! A day in the life as a Furniture Technician - Performs complex repairs of furniture in the warehouse - Reports product quality or trend issues to Supervisor or Lead - Installs and orders all necessary parts - Maintains adequate supplies, parts and tools to perform the job - Maintains proper storage of chemicals and or hazardous materials per OSHA standards - Cleans up and disposes boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well as general housekeeping of facility and specific product line areas - Rotates through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the business - Participates in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position - Performs all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goals What youll bring to the table - Mechanical aptitude to assemble furniture pieces - Good communication skills - Ability to work in a team environment - Strong attention to detail - Basic English Language proficiency Furniture repair techs must be able to use blend sticks, bondo putty, repair upholstery, color/paint matching, sealants, wood finishing, burn in knife, structural repairing tools, among others. salary: $30/hr
work hours: 6:00AM to 2:30PM
qualifications:
- up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)
- Inspect quality and defects of products
- Assemble products according to specifications
