Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Rollformer Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining rollforming machines to produce precision steel guides used in steel roll-up doors. The operator will ensure that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Operate Rollforming Machines: Set up and operate rollformer machines to produce steel guides that meet product specifications for roll-up doors. Material Handling: Load, position, and monitor steel coils or strips for the rollforming process, ensuring proper alignment and secure handling. Quality Control: Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy, surface defects, and overall quality. Ensure all products meet required standards and tolerances. Adjust Machine Settings: Make necessary adjustments to machine settings such as speed, temperature, and alignment to optimize performance and product quality. Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on rollforming machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacing worn parts to keep equipment in optimal working condition. Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced, machine settings, and quality checks, as well as report any deviations from specifications. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of protective equipment and safe operation of machinery. Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensure continuous production, and improve operational efficiency.
