As a quality assurance associate, you will be responsible for inspecting materials and packaging to make sure they meet quality requirements. The job involves the completion of daily QA reports and documentation. QA/QC LAB TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Incoming Raw Material: Sampling/testing/documentation. Inspect and release. - In-Process: Sampling/testing/documentation. Inspect and Release. - Finished Product: Sampling/testing/documentation. Inspect and Release. - Create C of A - Perform compounding and packaging lab clearance. - In-process lab checks. - Experience with FTIR a plus. - Will also be responsible for collaborating with other members of management to develop new product standards, manufacturing and training methods. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Enforces quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with other members of management and with production operators and technicians. - Develops raw material standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements, conferring and negotiating with suppliers, and devising testing methods and procedures. - Provides quality certificates for shipments as required. - Performs special tests as required for raw materials and disposition of returned products as requested by marketing or customer service.- Maintain operator test facilities and supplies and assist in operator training as necessary to assure accurate, reproducible in-process test results. - Establishes standards for the disposition of finished product by devising evaluation tests, methods, and procedures. - Institutes rework standards by devising inspection and physical testing methods and procedures. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
