We're seeking a Warehouse Specialist - Freezer to join our team and play a vital role in the efficient storage, replenishment, and distribution of food products. This position involves loading, unloading, inspecting, and properly storing food items while ensuring freezer and refrigerated pull locations are replenished daily for order selectors. You will also be responsible for loading orders onto trucks, completing bills of lading, assigning seal numbers, and shrink-wrapping skids to maintain safe transport. Accuracy is key in this role, as you will provide detailed product information to the Inventory team, follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methodology, and maintain product data in the WMS locator tool. Additional responsibilities include assisting with cycle counts, adhering to Food Safety guidelines, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of warehouse experience, including the operation of forklifts (propane and electric) and electric pallet jacks (4ft and 8ft). A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a Food Safety Certification, which will be provided by the Mid-Ohio Food Collective. Candidates should have a general understanding of warehouse operations, quality control procedures, and scanning equipment. Strong attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and within a team, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.
