Are you ready to jumpstart your career in customer service? Janus is a leading provider of innovative access control solutions, specializing in the Nokē Smart Entry System (SES). We are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and support to our clients in the self-storage and access control industries. Essential Functions: Customer Interaction: Engage with customers via telephone or in person to provide information about the Nokē Smart Entry System and assist with troubleshooting. Proactive Outreach: Initiate outbound calls to Facility Managers to offer assistance, training, and troubleshooting support; conduct surveys; and solicit FOB orders. Education and Training: Distribute marketing and training materials to Facility Managers to enhance their understanding and utilization of our products. Collaboration: Coordinate with Nokē Customer Support and the Janus International Engineering team to escalate and resolve complex issues. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken. Complaint Resolution: Address customer service or billing complaints by facilitating merchandise exchanges or processing returns. Customer Communication: Reach out to customers to respond to inquiries or inform them of claim investigation results or planned adjustments. Product Testing: Order tests to determine the causes of product malfunctions when necessary. Work Area Maintenance: Ensure the work area remains neat and clean. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and company objectives. Job Specifications: Education: High school diploma required; a four-year college degree is preferred. Experience: 1-3 years of technical work-related experience. Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in computer applications, particularly Outlook. Familiarity with iOS and Android smartphones, including a basic understanding of Bluetooth communication. Industry Knowledge: Experience in the self-storage industry and/or with access control solutions is a plus. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally by telephone is essential. Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
