job summary:
As an assembler, you will assemble products from various stages according to guidelines and specifications. Maintain safe and clean working environment in compliance with procedures, rules and regulations. Keep equipment operational with preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshoot malfunctions; and call for repairs. This job requires bending, lifting, standing and walking. Unload products being delivered and review for damage. Verify actual delivered items vs. BOL and packing slip. Receive items in SAP system. - Deliver products to proper location based on commodity. i.e.; components to production based on products, MRO items to stockroom or requisitioned. - Operate forklift according to training and safety requirements - Process customer shipments and ensure correctness of parts to customer demands - Load/unload customer and internal racks - Monitor all customer portals for ASN timeliness and delivery accuracy - Answer all customer portals for shortage tickets, float alarms and/or shipment discrepancies. Escalate to Master Scheduler as needed - Generate customer shipping schedules - Ensure all customer shipping schedules are maintained, communicated and accurate - Process shipping documents on local MRP system and verify for accuracy - Process all empty rack receiving documents to customer systems when unloaded - Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises - Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing - Must be able to lift up to 33lbs on a regular basis - Work requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times
