job summary:
As a Technician Helper, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the continuous operations of Mars' Pilot unit to meet its production and engineering goals. You'll report directly to the Engineering Team Lead. Specific duties you'll champio ● Maintenance/Repairs ○ Maintain the operability of process equipment, including inspecting and repairing pumps, process piping, heat exchangers, and instrumentation (control valves, temperature/pressure/level transmitters) ○ Follow SOPs to safely shutdown and prepare units for mechanical work ○ Support the Process Specialist to redline and develop operational and maintenance SOPs ○ Perform reactor maintenance including but not limited to: ○ Install and uninstall reactors from the pilot unit. ○ Clean and repack the reactors ○ Refill and maintain self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) uni ● Communication ○ Draft and disseminate updates and action plans for process equipment ○ Willingness to adopt and utilize communication tools such as Slack and Google Drive You must comply with company safety rules and regulations in machinery operation and assistance. Requires bending, lifting, standing, walking.
