Key Qualifications: ✅ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills ✅ Proficiency in Excel and Outlook ✅ Will be conducting physical inventory counts in varying temperatures (gear provided for cool environments) across dry and cool warehouses ✅ Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing Job Overview: We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Clerk to join our team! This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records while assisting in the prevention and resolution of inventory discrepancies. Key Responsibilities: Research and locate missing products or items placed in incorrect locations. Conduct routine and ad hoc cycle counts and physical inventories. Recommend the disposal of damaged or expired stock. Work with internal teams and customers regarding inventory needs, recalls, and discrepancies. Review warehouse storage practices to ensure proper racking, pallet quality, and stock condition. Establish and maintain a HOLD area at each facility. Promote a safe work environment by adhering to all safety policies and promptly reporting any concerns. Provide backup support for Customer Service Representatives (CSR) and other administrative roles as needed. Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). At least one year of experience in inventory control, quality control, warehouse auditing, or operations (preferred). Skills & Abilities: ✅ Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, practices, and documentation. ✅ Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills. ✅ Basic math skills for inventory tracking. ✅ Ability to safely operate Material Handling Equipment. ✅ Flexibility to work various shifts as needed. ✅ Must remain in a constant state of alertness and safety. ✅ Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized. ✅ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. ✅ Experience with warehouse management systems (preferred). Physical Requirements: Safely lift and handle up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs. Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time. Comfortable working in varying temperatures - from freezers to ambient warehouse conditions (protective gear provided for cool environments).
