job summary:
The role involves operating hand and power tools commonly used in mechanical assembly, processing work orders using computers and scanning devices, and reading documents like blueprints and bills of materials to complete assembly tasks. Responsibilities include gathering parts, assembling and fastening components, connecting cables, verifying unit specifications, and disassembling units for adjustments. The position also requires marking assemblies, reporting non-conforming items, preparing finished units for shipping, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The employee will follow quality, safety guidelines, and other operational instructions as directed.
