job summary:
Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and hardworking Assembly & Shipping Associate to join our team. This role requires a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work efficiently in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for light mechanical assembly, data entry, and customized labeling, as well as assisting in shipping operations. Key Responsibilities: Assembly Work: Perform light mechanical assembly, securing and fastening components to units. Work with electronic components, using hand tools and power tools. Follow detailed instructions to ensure quality and consistency. Soldering experience is a plus. Data Entry & Labeling: Input key information into the computer accurately. Create customized labels using Excel. Maintain attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all tasks. Shipping & Receiving: Receive inbound materials and organize them on shelves. Prepare 5-10 packages daily for shipment using UPS WorldShip. Handle small packages weighing 10-30 lbs. Work Environment & Expectations: Work as part of a small, dedicated team. Be open to learning different tasks and responsibilities. Maintain a strong work ethic and commitment to quality. Follow workplace policies (no headphones or cell phone use). Engage in physical work in a hands-on manufacturing environment (no forklift operation). **BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED** **DRUG SCREEN REQUIRED** **Requires written and verbal English skills** **Must have reliable transportation**
