job summary:
A company is South St. Petersburg is currently seeking a Setup Operator to join their team. The Setup Operator will operate, set up, conduct changeovers, and quality check product as it comes out of the manufacturing machines. Successful candidates will have mechanical capability with hand tools and machinery. Operate multiple assembly machines, ensuring performance and quality standards are met. Package and label finished products into the appropriate containers. Work both independently and collaboratively with others. Read work orders to ensure correct parts are used for order. Perform various measuring and recordkeeping inspections. Complete required paperwork such as QC first piece inspection report sheet. As a machine operator helper, you are a machine operator in training. You will be responsible for assistance with preparing materials and product output. Machine operator helpers are measured by their ability to use as much material as possible during the manufacturing process and ensure that there is little to no waste material, or scrap. You must comply with company safety rules and regulations in machinery operation and assistance. Requires bending, lifting, standing, walking.

• Inspect quality and defects of products

• Load, unload materials & equipment
