job summary:
May work in areas such as Turning, Grinding, Finishing, Quality Assurance, or a combination  Operates production machines to achieve Quality and Production goals  Performs simple maintenance of assembly/production machines  Responsible for quality of parts produced by machinery in their care  Performs simple troubleshooting  Completes and ensures the accuracy of all required paperwork  Checks and prepares containers for proper condition and ensures they are labeled correctly  Ensures that total amount of parts in containers is correct  Performs requested Quality Control for the parts according to the Control Plan  Performs and documents machine adjustments if required and permissible  Ensures that there is enough parts in all trays/bunkers/magazines  Maintains required production levels and standards  Keeps the work environment safe, clean and organized (makes sure that no parts are on the floor)  Reworks and sorting when required  Performs Quality checks on parts and maintain proper documentation in QMS  May operate the optical measurement system and/or other similar measurement systems
