job summary:
Operates sorting machines to achieve Quality and Production goals Performs simple maintenance of assembly/production machines Responsible for quality of parts produced by machinery in their care Performs simple troubleshooting Completes and ensures the accuracy of all required paperwork Checks and prepares containers for proper condition and ensures they are labeled correctly Ensures that total amount of parts in containers is correct Performs requested Quality Control for the parts according to the Control Plan Performs and documents machine adjustments if required and permissible Performs Quality checks on parts May operate the optical measurement system and/or other similar measurement systems Evaluate the quality of all production products, via daily inspections, data review and analysis as well as random product audits on the shop floor, including dimensions classified as special characteristics Measuring samples and PPAP parts, recording data in an appropriate format and timely manner Supporting measurements system analysis studies Maintaining visual boundary samples in the Quality Lab Conducting incoming inspections Supporting the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
