job summary:
The Quality Technician is a cross-functional position with two (2) areas of focus: Quality Compliance and Documentation. - Testing production samples and calculating adjustments to ensure kettles meet final production specifications o Laboratory equipment: Viscometer, pH meter, Brix Refractometer, Moisture Analyzer, Balance - Read, understand, and verify accuracy of batch tickets - Maintain quality control database of in-process and final inspection results - Processing batch flows in the ERP system; raw material consumption, finished goods lot creation, and QC data entry for certificates o ERP system: Process Pro - Notify manager of any quality issues and execute non-conformance protocols - Testing and inspecting finished goods and product packaging. - Incoming/Outgoing inspection; process inspection and analysis - Following procedures and recommending procedural changes to promote continuous improvement - Testing raw materials - Organizing and monitoring production retains for accuracy throughout shelf life - Perform cycle counting activities monthly on materials in required for the Supply Chain Management - Assist manager as needed - Maintain a clean and organized work environment
