job summary:
The job involves assembling and disassembling trench boxes, power washing, loading and unloading trucks with forklifts, and using smaller hand tools. Welding experience is a plus but not required. The position requires steel-toe boots, and the company provides other PPE. The hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with potential overtime until 5:00 p.m. Pay is $21/hour, with potential for temp-to-hire based on performance and attendance. Forklift use is about 10% of the workday. A valid driver's license is preferred for long-term employees. Drug testing (including marijuana) and background checks are required. There is a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and time card fraud.
