job summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our customers team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cycle counting, conducting audits, and ensuring accurate inventory management. Key responsibilities include breaking down pallets, rotating food items to maintain freshness, and performing quality assurance (QA) checks on food products. The candidate should have experience using Warehouse Management Systems, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Additional duties include checking in drivers, processing customer returns while complying with return policies, and scanning items using RF guns or manual counting methods. Ensuring same-day returns are processed correctly with appropriate codes is a critical part of this role. Our customer facility is currently expanding, and the candidate must be comfortable working across all three zones-Dry, Cold, and Frozen.
