job summary:
The 4-Slide Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 4-slide metal stamping machines to produce precision parts. This role requires mechanical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. Set up and operate 4-slide machines to manufacture metal components according to blueprints and work instructions. Adjust machine settings, tooling, and feeds to ensure precision and quality in production. Load raw materials (wire or strip metal) and monitor machine performance for accuracy. Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to ensure compliance with specifications. Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor adjustments or repairs as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols. Document production output, quality checks, and machine maintenance activities. Work collaboratively with engineers, quality control, and production teams to improve efficiency.
