job summary:
The Spiral Pipe Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining spiral pipe machinery to produce high-quality pipes according to company specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues. Key Responsibilities: Operate spiral pipe machines to manufacture pipes of varying diameters and specifications. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to ensure accurate product specifications. Inspect finished pipes for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize machine downtime. Document production details, including material usage and machine settings, for recordkeeping. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished products as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely production. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience operating spiral pipe machines or similar manufacturing equipment preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Basic knowledge of quality control procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prolonged standing, bending, and manual labor. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise and dust.
