job summary:
As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing both inbound and outbound shipments to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our operations. This role involves verifying product quantities, preparing shipments, and assisting in inventory control. You'll also receive training and certification to operate a forklift, expanding your skillset in warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities: -Receiving: Inspect, count, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists. Ensure proper storage of received goods. -Shipping: Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments to meet customer specifications and ensure timely deliveries. -Track shipments and manage documentation related to incoming and outgoing orders. -Assist with inventory management by updating and maintaining records in the warehouse management system (WMS). -Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols. -Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet productivity and shipping goals. -Receive training and certification on forklift operation (Powered Industrial Trucks).
