job summary:
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Boat Framer to join our manufacturing team. As a Boat Framer, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling the structural framework of boats, ensuring precision, durability, and quality in every build. This role requires experience with woodworking, metal fabrication, or composite materials, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Key Responsibilities: Construct and assemble boat frames using metal, or composite materials according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical schematics to ensure accuracy. Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand and power tools. Secure and fasten framing components using nails, screws, adhesives, and other fastening methods. Work with other team members to ensure seamless integration of framing with other boat components. Inspect and verify structural integrity, making necessary adjustments or repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols. Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently. Assist in quality control checks to meet industry and company standards.
