MRO Procurement System Analysis: Task: Analyze the MRO procurement system to identify issues related to orders and paperwork tracking. Skills Needed: Strong problem-solving abilities to track inefficiencies and make data-driven recommendations for improvements in the ordering process. Knowledge of procurement and tracking systems. Coordination with MRO Vendors: Task: Monitor parts usage and requirements in collaboration with MRO stocking vendors. Skills Needed: Excellent communication skills for vendor management, as well as the ability to analyze usage trends to ensure that stock levels meet demand without over-ordering. Blanket Order Management: Task: Release blanket orders within management control parameters. Skills Needed: Understanding of procurement and inventory systems to ensure that blanket orders are correctly aligned with both operational and budgetary constraints. Purchase Documentation Preparation: Task: Prepare purchase documentation for MRO parts and supplies and forward it to the buyer for processing. Skills Needed: Organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance with procurement processes. Tracking of Repairs and Components: Task: Track systems and components sent outside for repair, ensuring timely returns and proper record-keeping. Skills Needed: Systematic tracking abilities and understanding of repair workflows to minimize downtime. Inventory Control & Cycle Counts: Task: Perform cycle counts of MRO inventory and address any discrepancies or obsolete inventory issues. Skills Needed: Strong analytical skills to detect inventory problems at a granular level and an understanding of root cause analysis to implement effective solutions. Tool Crib Operations: Task: Maintain appropriate paperwork and forms for Tool Crib operations, ensuring smooth issuance of parts, tools, and machine components. Skills Needed: Knowledge of tool crib management, inventory control, and maintaining compliance with required documentation for auditing purposes. Training and Instruction: Task: Provide training or instruction for others in Tool Crib attendant classification procedures and operations. Skills Needed: Instructional and mentoring skills, with the ability to communicate processes effectively to others. Review and Analysis of Obsolete Inventory: Task: Review and analyze obsolete inventory and recommend solutions. Skills Needed: Expertise in inventory management, familiarity with
