job summary:
Key Responsibilities: Performance Coaching and Development: Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to production team members to enhance skills and performance. Identify individual and team performance gaps and develop targeted action plans for improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Attendance Monitoring and Tracking: Track and analyze employee attendance records, including tardiness, absences, and leave requests. Ensure accurate documentation of attendance infractions and maintain detailed attendance logs. Team Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with supervisors, team leads, and other departments to align performance goals with business objectives. Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss goals, progress, and challenges. Encourage open communication and foster a positive team culture. Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve performance-related issues and conflicts within the team. Provide guidance and support to employees in overcoming challenges. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of coaching sessions, training progress, and performance improvements. Prepare and present reports on team performance and improvement initiatives. Issue verbal and written warnings as needed based on attendance infractions. Document all attendance-related discussions, warnings, and corrective actions. Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, HR, and department managers to ensure attendance policies are consistently applied. Communicate attendance expectations and updates clearly to employees. Provide regular attendance reports and updates to management. Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with leadership or coaching responsibilities. Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods. Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Work Schedule: Full-time 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday with flexibility
