job summary:
As an repair technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and imaging laptops and desktops, with a focus on laptops. You will also test and maintain peripheral devices like printers, scanners, and docking stations, ensuring that all equipment functions properly. Your role will involve: -Testing, repairing, and imaging laptops and desktops (primarily laptops). -Diagnosing hardware and software issues and performing necessary repairs. -Setting up and configuring computer systems, ensuring they are ready for deployment. -Testing peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and docking stations to ensure proper functionality. -Maintaining accurate records of all tests, repairs, and system configurations. -Collaborating with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Qualifications: -Strong understanding of laptop and desktop testing, repair, and imaging. -Familiarity with testing and troubleshooting peripheral devices (printers, scanners, docking stations). -Knowledge of computer setup and configuration. -Experience with diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. -Previous experience in IT support or a related role is preferred.
