job summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and detailed oriented Procurement Associate to maintain inventory and make sure we never run out of supplies on our shelves. The Procurement Associate will be responsible for managing inventory, handling vendor and internal customer relationships, and addressing any procurement issues that may occur. Ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Responsibilities: - Tracks all shipments and schedules via software, phone, and or emial - Calls/ Emails vendors for any supply or shipment issues such as overages, shortages, etc - Sources raw materials and supplies - Keeps inventory on raw materials, office and warehouse supplies - Efficient in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel - Assist warehouse team from time to time - Performs weekly cycle counts Daily responsibilities will include: counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock; compiling balance, price and cost reports; stocking and distributing supplies, equipment or merchandise.
