job summary:
Summary: A Material Handler pulls and verifies materials and supplies on production orders. This position will maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering parts pulled for production order. Assists with receiving material and puts away material. Main responsibilities:  Receiving, pulling parts for job orders and inventory  Perform inventory cycle counts and transactions as instructed  Load and unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company Purchase order Qualifications and experience:  High School Diploma/GED Required  Prior Warehouse experience required  Prior Manufacturing Stockroom experience preferred  Basic working knowledge of Material Handling - 1 year experience  Inventory cycle count experience preferred  Familiar with production and inventory systems  Effective verbal and written communication  Computer skills. Experience using MicroSoft Word and Excel preferred  Ability to lift 50-75 pounds  Forklift experience

• up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)
• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.
