job summary:
As a Picker/Packer, you will be integral in ensuring the accurate and efficient picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail and the ability to meet daily deadlines. Key Responsibilities: -Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specific requirements. -Follow company packing procedures and standards. -Handle inventory with care, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment. -Perform general warehouse duties, including material handling, cleaning, and maintaining a safe, organized work area. -Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes. -Use equipment such as box cutters, scan guns, tape guns, and other packing materials effectively. -Identify and report defective items or discrepancies. -Ensure packaging meets company standards for quality and safety. -Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain a clean, safe working environment. -Assist with general material handling tasks, including sorting, stocking, and stacking items as needed. Qualifications: -Basic computer skills. -Ability to operate scanning devices and packing tools. -Ability to efficiently pick, pack, and load products for shipment. -Ability to perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning and organizing materials. -Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment -Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. -Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
