job summary:
Randstad in partnership with OP Mobility in Adrian, MI are currently seeking a materials intern to help continuously improve accuracy and distribution of materials. The payrate is $17.00-$28.40 based on tenure of education. In-person interviews will be required for this role. Please email your resume to amanda.heath-anjum@randstadusa.com for consideration. Essential Functions - Respond to internal and external customer inquiries in a timely, pleasant, and helpful manner - Assist to audit and log freight invoices - Work on miscellaneous continuous improvement projects in Materials group - Data entry in system and filing - Gain proficiency with SAP Additional Responsibilities - Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities - Comply with all work rules, policies, and procedures - Provide support to other positions as needed - Responsible for adhering to all principles of the quality, safety, and environmental systems implemented in the facility - May be required to report out on any projects to the management team Other Requirements - Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises - Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing - Must be able to lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis - Work requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times
