job summary:
Key Responsibilities: Perform electronic and mechanical assembly of PCBs using through-hole, surface mount (SMT), and fine pitch soldering techniques Operate and maintain pick-and-place machines for PCB assembly Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions Inspect solder joints and assembled boards to ensure compliance with quality standards Troubleshoot and rework boards as necessary Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and ESD guidelines Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 2-3 years of experience soldering components onto PCBs Proficient in SMT and fine pitch soldering techniques Hands-on experience with pick-and-place machines Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small components Preferred Qualifications: Experience with both manual and automated assembly processes IPC-A-610 certification is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality Please Note: Experience with selective soldering is not desired for this role
