job summary:
Daily support of sales and quality control Computer literate and able to work with word, excel and adobe Generate part/box labels for specific customers (military, aerospace) Complete and submit certificate of conformance (COC) for specific customers Complete and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) for specific customers in a timely manner Work with salesmen regarding COC, FAIR and PO's for certain customers Complete customer surveys when requested by customers Maintain detail spreadsheet tracking COC/FAIR receipts and completion dates Follow up in a timely manner on FAIR submissions to ensure shipment of parts to customers Maintain ISO calibration spreadsheet with current measurement devices and inspection due dates. Ensure that missing measuring devices are updated on calibration spreadsheet. Do warehouse walkthroughs at least once a month. Maintain measuring device folders with latest calibration certificate (Caliper, durometer, micometer). Update calibration spreadsheet to reflect new due date and that device is in service. Inspect and certify in house the following: Tape measures, steel rules. Collect and send out measuring devices for calibration before due date on device and update calibration spreadsheet that device is out of service. Collect and review monthly maintenance checklist from production (Atom, CNC, Hose shop, Preco). Ensure that correct department is on each checklist sheet. Do spot checks throughout the month. Retrieve RFQ's and PO's from certain customer portals and forward to appropriate sales people Enter RFQ quotes in specific customer portals Responsible for following up on approval of FAIR after submitting so that product is able to ship out per contract Responsible for escalating management if issues with any job requirements This job is critical for the flow of required information to customers and requires a sense of urgency. If delays occur it will impact our customers, Hanna and ratings relating to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100. Learn and own ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 policies and procedures. Participate in quality meetings, audits and customer quality discussions. This is a fast-paced job and requires attention to detail/accuracy. Must be able to multitask and determine priority of work daily. Must have good attendance to ensure all deliverables are met Sense of urgency (tempo matters) Requires strong computer skids Requires to be able to use calipers and measuring devices
