job summary:
Position Overview: The Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately picking and packing pharmaceutical packaging for shipment in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all orders are completed according to the company's quality standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product safety and integrity while adhering to all regulatory guidelines, including those specific to the pharmaceutical industry. Key Responsibilities: Order Picking: Accurately pick products according to customer orders or shipment schedules. Ensure correct items, quantities, and product conditions are selected for packing. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld devices to verify order details. Order Packing: Safely pack pharmaceutical products for shipment, ensuring products are securely packed to prevent damage during transit. Apply the correct labeling, including any regulatory or safety information required for pharmaceutical shipments. Ensure packaging meets company standards for quality, safety, and compliance with FDA regulations. Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damage before packaging. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to check product expiration dates, batch numbers, and other compliance requirements. Report any discrepancies, damaged products, or inventory issues to supervisors.
