responsibilities:
Provides support to management on Program Management matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. Supports the delivery of a strategic program by providing central expertise and governance. Responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. Interprets issues and recommends solutions/best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions. May lead functional teams or projects.
This is an individual contributor role working with key leaders in the Reliability Engineer Center of Excellence (CoE) as well as Site Reliability Engineers. (SREs) This individual serves as the key interface and liaison between the business sponsor, or client and technology counterparts to advance enterprise-wide initiatives. This individual will have the responsibility of working with multiple stakeholders to determine the business and technology objectives for their team(s) and ensures planned work provides business value and aligns with the Reliability Engineer Center of Excellence's roadmap.
- Helps facilitate meetings for strategic areas of focus across the CoE in partnership with the Senior Leadership team.
- Monitors projects and maintains up-to-date documentation allowing others to know the status of projects.
- Supports product management of the SLO Platform to ensure identified scope and work effort are based on strategic initiatives.
- Partners with Product and Project Managers and Delivery teams to brainstorm, plan, and prioritize SRE work across multiple lines of business.
- Supports prioritization of strategic initiatives within the CoE by providing the necessary information to leadership to make the right decisions.
- Serves as a critical business partner for Site Reliability Engineering initiatives and works closely with development/engineering teams.
- Provides visibility of risks and issues
