Our West Michigan client is looking for a Mainframe developer to assist in retail operations. This is a remote position with potential to convert to full time, but preferences will be given to candidates local to Grand Rapids, MI or the surrounding Great Lakes states. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years developing in COBOL/DB2.

responsibilities:
- Support multiple COBOL, JCL batch/CICS, VSAM/DB2, zOS and online applications
- Complete various production support activities such as: analyzing, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance and documentation
- Manage allocation of time efficiently between multiple project phases
- Attend project meetings and report status as needed
qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors
