We are seeking a Security Engineer with 5+ years of security experience in a cloud first environment doing assessment of implementation of controls.
This is someone that can build automation and controls in our cloud environment - heavy AWS on the software production side AND heavy GCP on the Data Science, ML, and Operational Data side.

responsibilities:
- Evaluate then plan, design and implement security controls for cloud networks and systems including GCP and AWS
- Collaborate with internal users of all levels to understand platform and cloud needs in order to identify and provision security measures for those systems.
- Consult software engineering on security considerations and vulnerabilites
- Ensure clear communication of all company wide security intiatives to all affected parties
- Research trends, paradigms, tools, and strategies for to continuously improve security of all systems, tools, and software.
