A client of ours is looking for a highly skilled Workday HR Integration Developer to join the team. This role will involve mentoring and upskilling another team member, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster growth and expertise within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining both inbound and outbound integrations within the Workday HCM module using Workday Studio. Proficiency in connector integrations, advanced XSLT, and securing integrations is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentoring and Upskilling: Lead the effort to mentor and train a team member, sharing expertise and best practices to help them grow and excel in their role.
- Guiding Integration Development: Oversee and support the team member in designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining both inbound and outbound HR integrations using Workday Studio.
- Teaching Connector Integrations: Instruct and assist the team member in developing and managing connector integrations to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Advanced XSLT Training: Provide advanced XSLT training, helping the team member learn how to transform and manipulate XML data within integrations.
- Securing Integrations: Educate the team member on implementing security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Guide the team member in identifying and resolving issues related to integrations, ensuring they can provide ongoing support for smooth operation.
Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in building and editing integrations using Workday Studio.
- strong expertise in developing and implementing connector integrations.
- Expertise in writing advanced XSLT, including ETV and XTT elements.
- Experience in securing integrations, including PGP encryption, to ensure data protection.
- Proven ability to mentor and train others, fostering growth and expertise.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Workday integration or related areas.
- Experience with other integration tools and technologies.
- Understanding of HR processes and systems.
The team is looking to bring on an individual who is experienced with Workday Integrations to help upskill and train a current employee on the Workday/Technology team. The ideal person can go beyond Workday training courses and help teach how to build Workday integrations. We have some upcoming integration projects and it would be great if we could find someone to help walk our employee through the building and completion of one of these projects. This person will shadow our employee by sitting on several calls and guiding our employee each step of the way.
