Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to events on consoles, troubleshooting and resolving mainframe and production incidents.
- Assist with incident resolution through calls from I.S. Help Desk and support teams.
- Implement standard procedures and manage incidents in the production environment.
- Maintain knowledge of critical applications, error recovery, and daily operational procedures to support 24x7 service levels.
- Interpret computer-generated messages, determine actions, and follow standard protocols.
- Implement production system schedule changes in line with change control guidelines.
- Provide internal and external customer support, liaise with vendors to resolve issues.
- Shift rotation every 4 months between first and second shift (0630 - 1515, 1430 - 2315).
- No travel required.
- Monitor production environment alerts and provide incident support (communications, trending, tracking).
- Document incidents in the ticketing system and interact with I.S. teams and vendors.
- Support troubleshooting, analysis, and basic change control.
- Work under general supervision, following established procedures.
