Randstad Federal is seeking a Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes Admin in support of a program at IRS

responsibilities:
Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes admin with a strong background in container orchestration, platform management and cloud-native applications with hands-on experience in managing and deploying applications on OpenShift and/or Kubernetes clusters.
Primary Duties:
- Deploy, manage and scale Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters - 25%
- Configure, manage and monitor containerized applications running on Kubernetes or OpenShift - 20%
- Automate cluster provisioning, configuration and deployment pipelines using tools like Ansible, Teraform, Helm - 25%
- Integrate Kubernetes/OpenShift with CICD deployment tools like Jenkins, Maven, GitHub - 15%
- Document and troubleshoot issues with containerized applications - 15%
- Managing and administering Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters - 7 years
- Proficiency in scripting languages (KSH, Bash, Python) - 6 years
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) - 6 years
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven) - 6 years
- In-depth knowledge of networking in containerized environments, load balancing, network policies and ingress/egress traffic - 6 years
- strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex problems - 7 years
- Red Hat OpenShift certification or Kubernetes certification
