Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Product Catalog Architect to contribute to long-term system transformation initiatives in sales, CRM, billing, and network inventory platforms. This role will support multi-year projects within the telecommunications industry, and focus on analyzing and transforming customer and product data in collaboration with cross-functional teams (billing, finance, product management, network engineering, sales, and customer support).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop data architecture documentation to evaluate current and transitional states of product data architecture, encompassing both static and dynamic data.
- Establish and maintain logical data models for enterprise-level telecommunications products.
- Provide architectural deliverables to key projects, including:
- Enterprise Product Catalog
- Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions
- Order Management systems
- Enterprise Product Catalog
- Identify opportunities to enhance business outcomes by optimizing existing systems and/or implementing new ones.
- Create alternative roadmaps, outlining pros and cons, and recommend the best architectural approaches.
- Define processes to ensure consistent data quality for product onboarding and ordering workflows.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years in the telecommunications or cable industry.
- 5+ years in enterprise architecture roles.
- 5+ years working with BSS/OSS systems.
- Experience with modeling tools (minimum of 1 year).
- At least 5 years in the telecommunications or cable industry.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Ability to analyze detailed system data and develop architecture-driven recommendations.
- Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman (TOGAF certification preferred).
- Proficiency with data modeling tools like Erwin is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce is advantageous.
- strong verbal and written communication skills across organizational levels.
- Ability to analyze detailed system data and develop architecture-driven recommendations.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field is required.
