Required Skills:
- Need to have data modeling, as someone designs views they need to have an idea of data modeling.
- Can take someone that is comfortable navigating the model.
- The key right now is getting data migrated from other sources.
- When SNOW was originally put out as a solution they "lifted and shifted" but then the Enterprise COE said they cannot do that anymore they need a centralized model. So the dimensional model was created from scratch.
- As subject areas are (advisor/donor) they are creating dismissions, facts and views.

responsibilities:
- 5+ years of technology-related experience in data warehousing (Oracle, Snowflake)
- Proficiency with Tableau
- Proficiency with database querying tools ( SQL, etc.)
- Experience with Informatica or similar tools
- Experience with data transformations, dimensional models, and view development with an eye toward the needs for our BI partners (dashboard design needs and consumer consumption)
- Experience turning analysis into data flow diagrams and data mapping output used to support downstream dimensional model design, development, and testing scope
- Experience modeling a dimensional data model a plus
- Ability to partner with Agile teammates as they perform similar functions to map, design, and implement additional data sources, model DIM, Facts and Views in our Snowflake environment
- Ability to quickly assess the Charity's snowflake data model and learn the nuances of the data reflected in existing dashboard logic
- You have proven expertise in authoring data queries when needed to validate work and focus on delivering high quality output
- You have communication skills necessary to solicit requirements, resolve questions or concerns with business partners
- You have experience working within an agile delivery structure, where the team is stronger than the individual
- You are intellectually curious, take initiative, and enjoy learning new environments.
