The Integrated Network & Voice Engineer is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting both network and voice communication systems. This hybrid role combines the duties of managing network infrastructure with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of voice communication systems. The Field Engineer will utilize toolsets and diagnostic techniques to ensure optimal performance of both network and voice systems, while collaborating with other IT teams to integrate these systems seamlessly into the company's infrastructure.

responsibilities:
Network Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network-related issues by analyzing system logs, conducting diagnostic tests, and addressing user-reported problems. Ensure minimal disruption to network services. Voice System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain voice communication systems (PBX, VoIP) and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to voice networks and phone systems. Use of PCNS Toolsets: Leverage PCNS toolsets to gather and analyze data on network and voice system performance. Proactively address issues and optimize system efficiency. Integration of Network and Voice Systems: Work closely with IT teams to integrate voice systems with network infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication across platforms. Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze network and voice system performance to identify potential bottlenecks and ensure optimal uptime. Security and Compliance: Ensure network and voice systems adhere to security standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct audits and implement security measures as necessary. On-call Responsibility: Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for urgent network or voice system issues. Respond promptly to critical incidents and escalate when needed. System Documentation: Create accurate documentation of network and voice system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference. User Support: Provide technical support to end-users for both network and voice-related issues. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control for voice systems.
