Randstad is looking for talented mid to senior level Mechanical Analysis Engineers to join our team supporting a Client in the space industry. This position is 100% remote and paying $55-65 per hour. Long term contract starting out at 6 months.
The Mechanical Analysis Engineer will be taking legacy parts and assemblies and doing mechanical analysis to determine whether legacy designs meet current standards. This will include scrutinizing designs for accuracy and best practices, analyzing tolerance stack ups, basic hand calculations to ensure legacy designs still make sense in the current use case.

Job Requirements -- 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Analysis
- Experience with ANSY
- Extensive experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Finite Element Method (FEM)and stress analysis
- Experience using NX CAD
- Tolerance stack ups and GD&T
Desired Skills & Experience -- Space or aerospace experience
- Teamcenter experience
- Exposure to NASA standards 5020, 5019, 5017, 5016
- Experience with CREO
- Thermal analysis experience
