This .NET Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining integrations for the companies software platform. This role will focus on building robust, scalable solutions using the companies stack, including .NET (Visual Basic .NET) and AWS services. The position involves close collaboration with clients to design integration workflows, thorough documentation of solutions in Confluence, and timely support for escalated customer issues.

- Design, develop, test, and maintain integration solutions to improve business efficiency and expand the capabilities of the companies platform.
- Leverage their technology stack, including .NET, AWS services (EC2, API Gateway, S3), and Jira for project management.
- Develop REST APIs and use tools like Postman for testing and validation.
- Build integrations in various formats, including EDI X12, JSON, and web APIs, ensuring compatibility with client systems.
- Interface directly with clients to capture, discuss, and design integration workflows tailored to their needs.
- Document all solutions and workflows thoroughly in Confluence, ensuring that final and in-production workflows are clearly recorded and accessible.
- Collaborate with the customer support team to investigate and resolve escalated issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, including detailed integration architecture diagrams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve integration development processes.
- Participate in Agile practices, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospective.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on system integration and REST API development.
- Proficiency in .NET (Visual Basic .NET preferred) and familiarity with AWS services like EC2, API Gateway, and S3.
