responsibilities:
Test Engineer - II is responsible for embedded product test in R&D. In this role you will be responsible to for Aerospace test plan & test procedures, writing test reports and oversee the tests in the lab.
- Define and identify customer design and test requirements.
- Develop Test Plans and Procedures, and write detailed Test Reports.
- Ensure test schedules are updated and track timely completion of tests.
- Collaborate with launch teams and corporate lab personnel to guarantee product and lab readiness for testing.
- Coordinate special testing needs (e.g., software, hardware) in preparation for upcoming tests.
- Manage the resolution of test lab failures through regular reviews and corrective actions.
- Assist engineering and quality teams in addressing specific validation issues with customers.
- Lead program-specific reviews of test planning and progress with laboratory staff and launch teams.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a lab environment.
- Experience in an regulated environment - Aerospace, Medical device, etc
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail minded.
