Randstad is looking for a highly skilled Design for Manufacturing and Testability (DFM/DFT) Engineer to oversee and manage contract manufacturing activities for a 5G digital radio system. This role will be crucial in ensuring that the designs are not only innovative but also manufacturable, testable, and meet stringent quality standards.

Job Duties -The candidate will be performing the following roles:
- Contract Manufacturing Oversight:
Oversee and manage the entire contract manufacturing process, from initial design transfer to final product delivery. Collaborate closely with contract manufacturers to establish clear communication channels and ensure timely execution of production plans.
Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM):
Analyze product designs to identify potential manufacturing challenges and recommend design modifications to improve manufacturability.
Work closely with design engineers to ensure that designs are optimized for efficient production, minimizing costs and maximizing yield.
Collaborate with suppliers to source cost-effective components and materials that meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Design for Testability (DFT):
Integrate DFT strategies into the design process to enhance testability and reduce test costs.
Develop test plans, test specifications, and test programs to verify the functionality of the product.
Work with test engineers to design and implement effective test procedures.
- Test Engineering and Validation:
Review and provide feedback on test reports, test plans, and acceptance testing to ensure comprehensive coverage and adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve any quality issues.
Conduct failure analysis to determine root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Proficiency in electronic design automation (EDA) tools.
Knowledge of testing methodologies and equipment.

Desired Skills & Experience -Experience in Radio Equipment is a big plus
Experience in 3GPP certification is a plus
