We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Operations and Contract Management Analyst with a background in contract operations and government contract reviews to join our team in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid position near Union Station in DC (3 days of onsite work each week).
Candidates with prior experience as a Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) are highly preferred. This role supports the governance and management of key IT service management processes, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management, while also playing a critical role in contract oversight and vendor management.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT operations, ensure compliance with contract requirements, facilitate key meetings, and uphold service delivery standards. With a focus on process improvement, contract analysis, and vendor performance, this role requires excellent analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in contract operations, government contract review, and vendor performance management.
- Prior experience as a Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) is strongly preferred.
- Great customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean principles and ITIL certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with IT operations, service management functions, and KPI reporting.
- Analytical capabilities with expertise in process improvement and vendor performance management.

responsibilities:
- Oversee the governance and execution of Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
- Review and provide detailed analysis of government contracts and operational agreements to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Document service management activities, including meeting notes, process improvements, and contract-related operational agreements.
- Facilitate gate reviews, change advisory boards, IT operational meetings, and contract performance reviews.
- Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and contract management teams to deliver compliant and efficient solutions.
- Utilize structured methods to gather, analyze, and document process improvement and contract compliance requirements.
- Validate completeness and readiness for production release while ensuring contract deliverables are met.
- Investigate, resolve, and escalate service-related issues while monitoring metrics for customer satisfaction and vendor contract performance.
- Promote awareness of IT Service Management processes, contract compliance standards, and operational best practices across departments.
- Ensure effective vendor management practices, including KPI development, contract execution, and performance monitoring.
- Provide expertise in government contract management processes, including Ariba On-Demand and forensic accounting.
