System Engineer builds and maintains Non-Prod and Production environments, supports system/application rollouts, responds to and troubleshoots escalated environmental issues, informs/advises application managers and stakeholders (Development, Release Management) about new environment build out progress and implementation, conducts technical analysis, and produces recommendations.
- Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and custom scripts.
- Manage version control, ensuring integrity and managing project conflicts.
- Supports application releases by performing pre and post implementation tasks, coordinating tasks with multiple cross-functional teams.
- Supports Infrastructure Maintenance and Operation routines such as Patching, Monitoring/Alerting and Upgrading.
- Supports Networking design and implementation activities as Load-Balancing, DNS, Firewall etc.
- Supports operations of Java based IAM applications.
- Experience in Apache web servers, Weblogic, Oracle Database.
- DevOps, Ansible, Jenkins, Automation
- Hands on experience in designing, implementing, and delivering infrastructure on Container platforms such as OpenShift, Kubernetes and/or Docker Swarm
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Reproducibility, Traceability, Concurrent Development strategies
- strong Infrastructure experience (Provisioning, Service Configuration, Orchestration, Monitoring etc).
- Experience and understanding of Networking concepts; Load-Balancing, DNS, Firewall.
- Experience with deploying, trouble-shooting JAVA applications and supporting infrastructure such as Weblogic, Apaches, Oracle DB. Experience in Ansible automation process is a plus.
