We are looking for a SAP Basis Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the SAP environment, ensuring the system's availability, performance, and security. This role is crucial for ensuring that SAP systems run efficiently, securely, and meet the operational needs of the organization.

responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor all SAP systems activity daily including for SAP ECC 6, BI/BW, HANA, Enterprise Portal, GRC, Gateway, and other SAP systems.
- Maintain SAP ECC and BW profile configurations, including monitoring and adjusting when problems occur or to improve performance.
- Administration and monitoring of Background processing and batch jobs.
- Managing print and spooling functions. Configure and maintain approximately 220 plus printers.
- Load balancing for application server logins. Watch workload consumed by each application server, particularly during month-end processing; add additional resources to server whenever needed.
- Manage importing of SAP transports from development, functional and enterprise analytics teams into the SAP ECC, BW, and other systems through typical landscapes: development, quality assurance, production and training.
- Monitor and apply SAP support OSS notes. Use SAP online OSS support to research and report problems, schedule and provide solutions.
- Maintain sandbox, development, quality assurance (QA) and training environments, including regular refreshes of QA and training systems from production and post-processing steps to maintain identity of the system in the QA/training landscape.
- Complete installation of R3, BW and its core modules and provide continuous SAP support package upgrades. Upgrade R3 kernel when required.
- Maintain J2EE software stacks. Duties cover monitoring, debugging and troubleshooting issues related to the Java stack.
- Maintain SAP Enterprise portal environment. Configuring backend services called by the portal, know how to create, change, and update
- SSL certificate
- Planning for SAP Installations, system sizing (capacity planning), and disk/storage/server layout and system installation plans.
- Monitor database growth and activity. Monitor database performance and adjust database resources as required. Work with Database administrators to maintain, assess, enhance, and upgrade any database used for SAP systems/applications.
- Table and index maintenance. Reorganize database tables and rebuild database indexes as required.
- Perform database backup/restore using RMAN and CommVault
- Test database recovery scenarios on a yearly basis.
- Diagnoses long running SQL and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage and apply SAP kernel patches and upgrades.
- Coordinates with internal and external auditors for various audits and provides documentation for system updates.
- Runs standard queries and validation reports
- Performs other duties as assigned.
