MUST HAVE SKILLS
Technical Expertise:
? Proficiency in configuring and managing Nokia Service Routers (e.g., 7750 SR, 7705 SAR, 7210 SAS).
? In-depth knowledge of Nokia Service Router Operating System (SR OS).
? Experience with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, and Segment Routing.
? Understanding of IP/MPLS networks, VPN technologies (L2VPN, L3VPN), and traffic engineering concepts.
Network Management & Tools:
? Familiarity with Nokia Network Services Platform (NSP) for network automation and management.
? Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization using tools like Wireshark or other network analyzers.
Scripting and Automation:
? Knowledge of Python, Perl, or other scripting languages for network automation and configuration.
? Understanding of APIs (e.g., RESTCONF, NETCONF) for automated provisioning and management.
Project and Documentation Skills:
? Ability to implement router configurations in large-scale projects.
? Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed network diagrams and documentation.
Experience Level:
? Minimum of 5 years experience in configuring and managing Nokia routers in an enterprise, telecom, or ISP environment.
Other Requirements:
? Understanding of QoS policies, security configurations (ACLs, IPsec), and network redundancy protocols (e.g., VRRP).
? Familiarity with software upgrades and hardware lifecycle management of Nokia router platforms.
Willingness to work flexible hours or be on-call for network emergencies.

responsibilities:
- Perform detailed equipment engineering for network augments. This includes eNSE hub migrations, developing all of the specifications required for network assurance to properly turn-up, inventory, and configure the equipment, obtaining appropriate management approvals, issuing purchase orders, creating applicable diagrams/ drawings, and ensuring vendor delivery.
- Ensure that work meets all applicable engineering, financial, planning, and operational standards.
- Manage, input, and update central Network Inventory Database to reflect new builds, adds, and decommissions.
