Our client is looking for a Sr. Applications Developer for a 6 month remote contract.
Under general direction of the team supervisor and a lead developer, the agency contractor will serve as a full-stack developer for the uAchieve Degree Audit Implementation project, which is part of the campus-wide Information System Upgrade initiative. They will be responsible for assisting with application development workload and enhancement projects in the Advising Applications environment. They will be expected to have experience developing enterprise-level applications using an object-oriented programming language, such as C#.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Family Educational Right to Privacy Act (FERPA)
- *(Previous FERPA experience is not necessary; we will require the candidate selected for hire to complete our standard FERPA training).
- Experience developing enterprise-level applications using ASP.NET Web Forms and IIS deployment.
- Extensive in-depth experience with an object-oriented programming language, such as C#.
- Experience in ALL of the following: DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and basic HTTP protocols.
- Experience designing and implementing REST API methods to query complex database systems.
- Experience with SQL using T-SQL, LINQ, PL/SQL and stored procedures. Experience with data extraction from complex database systems and data warehouses.
- Knowledge of SSL certificates and common web application security practices (including attack vectors like SQL injection, Cross-Site Scripting and other OWASP Top Ten Critical Web Application Security Vulnerabilities).
- Analytical skills to evaluate current business processes and to develop automated solutions to enhance the data management functions of current processes.
- Writing skills to develop technical and operational manuals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and oral communication.

- Experience in database design and tuning techniques.
- Experience with integrating Microsoft Graph into an enterprise-level application.
- Experience with automation and integration solutions such as MuleSoft.
