One of our Summit, New Jersey clients is looking to add a Product Owner to their growing team. The client currently uses data from 17 ERP systems, out of which some are SAP, and some are non-standard ERPs. As part of their data and digital transformation, these ERP systems will migrate into one single SAP S/4 HANA system.
This product owner position will be responsible for working with business
stakeholders from all supply chain areas- Plan, Source, deliver, warehouse, quality etc. to verify requirements and co-ordinate internal DTO activities for dashboard builds. This includes helping with intake and report rationalization process, attending scrum calls and managing the product backlog, working with BA's to create user stories and update
existing L2 data models.
Qualifications
-Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Specialization in supply chain with experience in data engineering, data science or advanced analytics fields is strongly preferred. APO or OMP experience preferred.
-5+ years of business experience with at least 2 years of Supply Chain,
IT or other relevant functional experience required.
- Experience with Agile product development methodology is required.
- Maintaining Jira boards and epics
- Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating the needs of the business stakeholders is required.
- Experience writing user stories, managing scrum calls, prioritizing backlog, etc. is required.
- Experience working with ERP (SAP)- APO or OMP experience, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, or other data and analytics tools is preferred.
-Experience in SQL [legacy Hadoop analysis] + Databricks/Synapse predominantly and Azure stack
-Scrum Alliance certification is preferred (e.g., Product Owner, Developer,
ScrumMaster),

-Gather, analyze, document, and validate the needs of business stakeholders.

-Identify requirements (if not already provided) and business functionality and KPIs,
-Perform high-level analysis of the reports to be built, maintain design documentation and user stories.
-Responsible for identifying and curating L2 data assets for reporting.
-Work with data asset teams to model the data requirements into existing/new data assets
